IIT-Madras is the first Indian university to join IBM's quantum network,
which will help the nation's research and skill-building in quantum computing,
tech giant stated on Monday. The Centre for Quantum Information,
Communication and Computing (CQuICC) at the Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT) Madras will concentrate on developing fundamental algorithms in fields including
quantum machine learning, quantum optimisation, and applied research in finance.
IIT Madras will have cloud-based access to IBM's most cutting-edge quantum computing equipment
