After expressing its support for Salman Rushdie, Warner Bros. Discovery denounces threats made against J.K. Rowling.

In a statement released on Sunday, Warner Bros. Discovery criticised the alleged threat made

against "Harry Potter" creator J.K. Rowling and stated that it supported "freedom of expression."

Rowling published a screenshot of a Twitter reaction to a post she sent on Friday,

when she wished fellow author Salman Rushdie well after he was stabbed in the neck at a lecture hall in New York.

She expressed her "sickness" about Rushdie being attacked and her hope that he would get better in her letter.

Don't worry, you're the next," one user said.

Rowling shared a screenshot of the response from Twitter and stated that after looking into her report of the tweet, "no breaches" were discovered.
