Justin Bieber performs for first time after canceling world tour dates
Justin Bieber returned to the stage on Sunday night in Italy at the Lucca Summer Festival
He returned after two months following the cancellation of several shows due to his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
The diagnosis causes partial facial paralysis
After postponing a few dates on his Justice World Tour in June, Justin Bieber announced last month on Instagram that he had trouble moving his right side of his face.
Including blinking his eye, moving his nostril or simply smiling from the right side of his mouth.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome "occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears," according to the Mayo Clinic.
It is brought on by the same virus that causes chickenpox and can induce facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear.
"I'm going to get better, and I'm doing all of these face exercises to get my face back to normal," Bieber said
