Matthew Robert Gage (born February 11, 1993) is an American professional baseball player.
Gage, a Johnstown, New York native, played baseball for Siena College while attending Broadalbin-Perth High School.
He participated in the Cape Cod Baseball League's summer collegiate baseball season that year with the Chatham Anglers and earned league all-star honours.
In the tenth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draught, the San Francisco Giants selected Gage.
He spent the whole 2016 campaign with Richmond, making 23 starts, going 9-7, compiling a 3.38 ERA, and striking out 106 batters in 136 innings.
In 2017, Gage played in contests for Richmond and the Sacramento River Cats, marking his Triple-A debut.
He was 6-11 with a 4.21 ERA and 95 strikeouts in a career-high 14513 innings.
