Nick Cannon and his child's mother, Bre Tiesi, dined out at Nobu in Malibu on Monday.
On his afternoon out, the 41-year-old actor wore a grey sweater and matching trousers.
He wore a white and grey baseball cap that was pulled low over his eyes.
Tiesi, 31, was dressed in a black leather coat with a matching pocketbook.
Small silver earrings dropped from her ears to her shoulders, and her lips were a soft pink.
Cannon's eighth child was born just a few weeks after the model gave birth to their child.
Cannon was present for the labour and birth, which she filmed in a video posted to her YouTube channel.
'This was the most humbling, limit-pushing, enlightening, and utterly powerful experience,' she added.
