Lindsay Arnold and Sharna Burgess have temporarily left the dance floor behind after previously leaving everything on it

The two Dancing With the Stars pros said that they will be leaving the competition to become mothers

In her message on August 31, Lindsay said

I wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing With the Stars this season

It was one of the hardest choices I had to make

but in the end I went with what I thought was best for my family and myself

With husband Sam Cusick, Lindsay is a mother to 21-month-old Sage

Lindsay revealed that she has decided to skip the season

so that Sage and she won't have to watch it.
