Before their final game at Great American Ball Park,

the Cincinnati Reds paid tribute to future Hall of Famers Yadier Molina and Albert Pujols.

Pujols left his own parting gift over five hours later.

The Reds were defeated 5-3 on Wednesday in the longest game of the season.

Pujols scored the winning run in the top of the 13th inning on a sacrifice fly,

drawing a standing ovation from the St. Louis Cardinals supporters in the crowd.

Lars Nootbar then hit a two-run home ball two batters later.

It's challenging to remember all that transpired between the pregame ceremony

there were no runs in the 10th, 11th, or 12th innings.
