What to expect in R Kelly's Chicago trial as he faces child pornography charges
The case that begins Monday in federal court in Chicago, on the other hand,
is a re-enactment of a state child pornography trial that took place in Cook County 14 years ago.
While he was acquitted at the time, legal experts say the situation has changed dramatically.
Kelly walked out of the Cook County Criminal Courthouse free in 2008 after a jury acquitted him of charges
he produced a video of himself having sex with a girl no older than 14 years old.
The alleged girl and her parents denied being on the tape and refused to testify at the time.
